Hackney Town Hall Wedding // Sarah and Dom

Sarah and Dom chose Hackney Town Hall for their wedding ceremony, as it's local to them being just a few minutes up the road from their flat!  Hackney Town Hall is a beautiful art deco building set back from the road, and its grand steps make for lovely photos just after the ceremony when happy buzz and excitement is in the air!   We absolutely love shooting the natural joy that's effervescent at a wedding, and Sarah and Dom's wedding had happiness in spades.As Sarah and Dom had met at school in Hong Kong (that's right, childhood sweethearts!) many of their friends have international backgrounds so flew over to London for their wedding from all over the world.  As such, it was just that extra bit special for Sarah and Dom to be able to have all their friends and family together in one place.After the marriage vows were declared and confetti thrown on the steps of the Town Hall, guests were given Camden Hells beers and G&Ts to lighten their journey on the big red London bus up the road to Stoke Newington.  A quick pit stop for some pimms and beers at the nearby Rose and Crown was followed by a sunny and relaxed drinks reception (aperol spritz featured - one of Sarah's faves) at Clissold House, a delicious feast by The Gatherers and dessert table spread by the Baking Boy.  Then Dom's brother Jonathan hit the decks to serenade the party!  All in all, a brilliant wedding day for an absolutely delightful couple!Joey and I also shot a wedding film for Sarah and Dom, which you can watch here:https://vimeo.com/137892844A few words from the utterly lovely bride, Sarah: "We cannot stress how in love we are with the photos.
